We are a small specialist company based in Southern Ireland. We have a passion for shawls. All shawls. We like them all. In fact we liked them so much that we started our small unique company itsashawlsthing.com to sell the shawls. We also like and have a great respect for the people behind our products that make out shawls. Many of our shawls are handmade by small women's groups and cooperatives in Nepal, Guatemala and India. The women that make our shawls use traditional skills to produce wonderful garments in often remote or difficult locations.When ever possible we embrace a fair trade ethos in our buying policy. Our suppliers are often members of their own countries fair trade organisation. Our range of shawls changes from week to week.
