We are a small specialist company based in Southern Ireland.
We have a passion for shawls. All shawls. We like them all.
In fact we liked them so much that we started our small unique company itsashawlsthing.com to sell the shawls.
We also like and have a great respect for the people behind our products that make out shawls.
Our shawls are handmade by small women's groups and cooperatives in Nepal, Guatemala, India, Laos and Tibet.
The women that make our shawls use traditional skills to produce wonderful garments in often remote or difficult locations.
We embrace a fair trade ethos in our buying policy.
Our suppliers are often members of their own countries fair trade organisation.
Our Vision
We hope in the future to encourage the development of these small producer groups in these locations
and jointly develop our unique shawl ranges . We will then be in an excellent position to offer
the greatest assistance to our producer groups.
We feel the shawl is the most under developed fashion accessory.
We are dedicated to brining our Fabulous Fairy Tail Fair Trade Shawls to our customers.
